Shine On Candles

Currently six young adults living with HIV work at the candle making unit under the guidance of Fr. Biju Mathew. They have made thousands of designer candles in the last year. The young adults are creative, hard-working, enjoy their work and have a great sense of pride in their workmanship.

Candles are sold every weekend at various churches in Bangalore.

Shine On regularly receives bulk orders for candles as wedding favours, baptism gifts, first holy communion gifts etc.

shiloh BAgs and cushion covers

At Shiloh, seven young women who were infected with HIV at birth have learned to make beautiful denim/ canvas bags and cushion covers with applique work, Warlipaintings, and woven Zari borders. This creative space allows these women to overcome their daily struggle with the side effects of ART (Antiretroviral Therapy) by allowing them to express themselves and learn new techniques.
